As ever there will be seven walks from March to November, avoiding any clash with the Alton Walking Festival in May, three in the morning, three in the evening and one in the afternoon.
We begin with a brief talk and prayer to send us on our way and provide a biblical perspective on the journey ahead. Each walk will be between an hour and a half and two hours at a moderate pace, including time to pause and reflect.
We begin and end at a local pub, providing an opportunity to share some liquid refreshment and a light meal. While most of the walks are for men only, we will follow the established tradition of opening up the September walk to friends and family. This year we will meet at the Priory in Howards Lane in Holybourne at 2.30pm on Saturday 5th September as guests of Sue Stephens.
You can book a place by phoning me on 07957 653403 or emailing me on [email protected]. In the event of bad weather I would contact you to skip the walk and perhaps meet at the pub at a later time for the meal.

See you on the highway!
