A Church wedding is a joyful celebration! It is the joining together of a man and woman in marriage. In the presence of God, and their family and friends they make a life long commitment to each other.
We would love to welcome you to celebrate your marriage in our Benefice where you will be warmly welcomed and supported in prayer. Our seven distinctive church buildings offer a spiritual and special place to celebrate your wedding.
Weddings can be booked to take place in any of the churches in the Benefice. Most weddings take place on Saturdays but can take place on other days with the exclusion of Sundays. Wedding couples will be invited to attend a marriage preparation morning. These preparation sessions take place once a year, usually in February.
The Benefice welcomes re-marriage wherever possible. Couples where one or both parties have been married before should in the first instance contact the Vicar, Revd David Chattell on 01420 513555.
