Only three out of the four churches in the Parish of the Resurrection have bells and we have one practice every week in two of them.

The Team ring across the Parish for Sunday Services, weddings and many other special occasions.

Only three out of the four churches in the Parish of the Resurrection have bells and we have one practice every week in two of them.

The Team ring across the Parish for Sunday Services, weddings and many other special occasions.

The ringers support as many of the Parish activities as possible during which we open the tower, giving ringing demonstrations and tours where appropriate. We also do work in the community by giving other groups within the Parish ringing experience days to promote the art of ringing.

Ringing across the Parish as we do we are always looking for new learners to join our happy band. So, if you are interested, just curious, or even a lapsed bell ringer – don’t be shy, come and see us or contact one of the Team members listed on this page.

Band Practices

All Saints Church, Alton – Tuesday’s 7.30pm till 9.00pm

Holy Rood Church, Holybourne – first Tuesday of the month 7.30pm till 9.00pm

St Lawrence Church, Alton – Thursday’s 7.30pm till 9.00pm

Sunday Service ringing (subject to availability of ringers and confirmed prior to each weekly practice night).

Learners and Improvers – Every other Saturday at Holy Rood Church 10.30am – 11.15am

Alton 8 Bell Monthly Practice – Every last Saturday of the month 5.30pm at St Lawrence Church
