The Benefice of the Resurrection in Alton, Hampshire, and adjacent villages is looking for a creative and strategic leader who can build on existing children’s and young people’s groups so they live for Jesus and His mission.
This is a part time post of 25 hours per week at a generous salary of £22,750.
We are seeking someone:-
· To inspire children and young people to receive for themselves the gift of faith in Jesus Christ
· To seek God for a fresh vision for children, their families and schools in the benefice
· To integrate children and young people into the core life of the church
· To have responsibility, alongside the current leaders in the benefice, for the pastoral care of children, young people and their families
· To build strong relationships with the schools, providing resources and time for the curriculum
· To be a vibrant and active presence within the benefice community.
This is a post for someone with experience of youth work who will enjoy developing the ministry of the benefice and working in a large, dynamic team.
